I use a floor firing 15" dual voice coil subwoofer with my JBL 4408A speakers. Works great for 20+ years now. I get an honest 25 hz reproduction.

It would seem that a crossover upgrade could improve the performance of the JBL 4408A, however there are opinions to the contrary as well. So I would like some opinions/recommendations on upgrading the crossovers in these speakers. 1) resistors The common theme here is to replace the sand resistors with Mills MRA-5 and MRA-10 wirewound non-inductive....
