126 Flanger/Doubler

Hi All, I just paid $200 to fix my MXR 126 flanger doubler, and I'm still having an intermitant problem. When the flange goes from Max to Min, there is a hum on the min side, a loud hum. Anybody know what goes wrong with these things? Maybe the repair guys didn't know what...

...quite rarely chorus the Jup8, but when i do its either classic, syrupy DM-300 chorus, or the doubler setting on MXR126 Flanger/Doubler. both mono, and i prefer it that way in the mix. if i want spread i either double track or put dry left, delay right, that sort of thing.. and stereo reverb.
