Thinking the same, possibly an 001 kbd with an 002R 12-voice later. Last I spoke with Philip, the 001 FX board had been tabled due to low demand, though I don't see that as being that much of an issue (as you can fold down both 001 voices onto a single mono 1/4" jack). I...

If you're only going to have two synths with a budget of $4,000...I guess I'd use all of it (of course) and go with a Moog Matriarch and a used Modal 002r 12-voice.
