THE ELKA MK88 is a master control keyboard which has two independent MIDI Outs and thus can control up to 32 MIDI sound modules, keyboards and effects units. 128 programmable Performance Presets are available, grouped into four internal banks of 16 and four external banks of 16 which can be stored in a RAM cartridge. Each Performance Preset contains specific information concerning splits, MIDI channels and dynamics curve settings; Set Up parameters such as program changes, volume settings, song selection and their like - included in the MIDI Patch portion of the preset - and general control settings for the various footswitches, function buttons, pedals, sliders and wheels.

I am also sending my MK88 Mk3 back. After high hopes, I found the keyboard too heavy. The software still needs bugs worked out. Midi out does not seem to work from the standard 5 pin out - at least it did not work for me out of the box. I think it needs...
