Control Surfaces are used to give you hands-on experience with your digital audio workstation (DAW) or mixer of choice. They allow you to control faders, pans and trigger a variety of shortcuts to speed-up the workflow. Most control surfaces come with transport buttons (for play, pause, rewind etc) and assignable controls (for plug-ins, solo/mute/arm functions, keyboard shortcuts etc) whilst others are mainly focused on mixing with motorized faders, touchscreens and knobs/encoders.
