Avenson Audio still make the little STO-2 pair - these are super-neutral and wonderfully realistic, but unlike the other cardioid suggestions are omnis, so you will get a lot more room sound, which may or may not be wanted in...
...can get the placement correct. You might also want to try a pair of mini omni mics like the Avenson STO-2 pair. It's counter-intuitive in a small room, but sometimes when the room's effect is unavoidable omnis work better because cardioids often do weird phase stuff off-axis that omnis don't. You never told...
